W-World Pitch Arena is a new live pitching competition launched
at the Women and the World International Film Festival.
It provides a stage for emerging women filmmakers - with a special focus on displaced and migrant voices — to present their projects directly to producers, commissioners, and industry leaders.
Finalists will pitch either short or feature-length documentary or live-action projects in front of
a professional jury, followed by Q&A.
The winning project will receive mentorship, direct introductions to industry contacts, and recognition during the Festival’s official Awards Ceremony.
The Pitch Arena is not just a competition - it’s a platform for breakthrough, visibility, and connection.
